Privacy at a glance

Your information, your choices. This notice covers TechNet Consultancy's website, learning platform, mock exams, digital products and related support. For personal-information removal or any privacy request, email hello@technetconsultancy.in. You do not need to buy a product or agree to marketing to make a request.

1. Who is responsible

TechNet Consultancy is the legal operator's registered name. TechNet Consultancy determines why and how information is processed for the services described here. Contact our privacy team at hello@technetconsultancy.in, +91 94083 07591, or F-6, 1st Floor, Vihang Trade Center, Mota Bazaar, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand, Gujarat, India.

2. What we collect

  • Account and contact: name, email, authentication information, mobile/WhatsApp number and preparation details requested by the form you use.
  • Orders and access: products purchased or assigned, payment references/status, invoices, access dates, validity and support correspondence. Payment providers process payment credentials; we receive transaction information, not your banking password or card security code.
  • Learning activity: answers, attempts, scores, timing, progress and reports needed to provide the service.
  • Technical and security: IP address, browser/device information, session identifiers, security events and error logs.
  • Choices and communications: consent records, subscription preferences, support messages and, where enabled, delivery, open and link-click events. Email opens and clicks can be affected by privacy features and automated scanners; they do not prove you read a message.

You provide most information directly. Payment providers supply confirmations. An authorised administrator or training organisation may supply necessary enrolment details for an assignment. Messaging providers supply messages and delivery status when you use those channels.

3. Why we use information

We use necessary information to secure accounts, deliver purchased or free access, enforce validity/attempt limits, score exams, provide reports, resolve support requests and keep transaction records. Limited first-party operational events also help us understand whether activation and checkout work; rejecting optional cookies does not stop necessary service/security records.

Where GDPR applies, necessary service processing relies on performing our contract or taking requested pre-contract steps. Security, fraud prevention, reliability and defending claims may rely on legitimate interests balanced against your rights. Required accounting and disclosures rely on legal obligations. Optional marketing and non-essential tracking rely on consent where required. Under Indian law, processing must use consent or another permitted basis as applicable.

Required fields are identified on forms. The current free-PMP form requests a mobile number for the learner contact record and account support; access verification is by email. Providing that number is not permission for WhatsApp messages. If you cannot provide a number, contact us about your request; this notice does not promise an automatic alternative registration route. Optional marketing is not a condition of taking the free mock.

4. Email, WhatsApp and messaging choices

Account messages are different from promotions

Email verification, purchase receipts and necessary account/access communications are distinct from optional study tips and package offers.

Service emails about a product you asked for. From 12 October 2026, when you claim a mock, buy a package or enrol in a course, we email you about using it: reminders to start a mock or course you have not started, your score and weak areas after you submit a mock, and a nudge to continue a course you have paused. These contain no package offers unless you opted in. Accounts created before that date receive them only if you opted in to preparation emails.

Optional emails. Preparation tips, weekly nurture and package offers are sent only with your opt-in.

Every service and optional email has an unsubscribe link. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or request messaging changes by email. Withdrawing optional marketing permission does not cancel your valid mock or purchased access.

A phone number is not a WhatsApp subscription

The PMP registration form's optional preparation-email choice is not a separate WhatsApp opt-in. Collecting your number does not by itself enrol you into WhatsApp updates.

If you request WhatsApp support or separately opt in to messages, the interaction involves WhatsApp/Meta and TechNet's messaging system. The relevant invitation or conversation should identify TechNet and explain the messages requested. Access/support messages and optional preparation tips or offers are different purposes; permission for one is not blanket permission for the other.

To request that WhatsApp messages stop, contact hello@technetconsultancy.in, identifying the number (with country code) and which messages you want stopped. Do not send your password. This email route is handled by our team, not an instant automated preference centre. Necessary account communications can continue by email; stopping optional messages does not itself remove access.

You may also ask us to stop in a conversation. The email contact above is available if you need help or want to specify which communication preferences to change.

5. Cookies and tracking choices

Use Manage cookie preferences near the top of this page at any time. The controls show your current browser choice and let you Reject optional, Accept optional, or select analytics and advertising separately. Neither optional category is selected by default for a new choice.

  • Necessary storage: supports login, security and saving privacy choices. It is not switched off by rejecting optional categories.
  • Optional analytics: Google Analytics measures marketing-page use. Microsoft Clarity, when enabled, records marketing-page interactions. These tools are not mounted in the authenticated learning/admin area.
  • Optional advertising: Meta Pixel and browser-initiated conversion events measure ad-related visits/actions. This is separate from email or WhatsApp marketing permission.
  • Mixed-purpose tag management: Google Tag Manager can contain analytics and advertising tags, so this site's container loads only when you allow both categories.

A saved choice lasts 30 days on this browser. Saving a changed choice reloads the page so previously loaded optional scripts stop running. We remove known first-party optional identifiers for the categories you reject; third-party storage or cookies on other paths may also require your browser's clearing tools. You can make different choices on other browsers/devices. Previously collected records are not erased merely by changing a cookie choice; use a privacy request for that. We may ask for a fresh choice when the consent controls change.

Storage inventory

This describes the site's configured technologies, not a claim that every listed tool is enabled on every visit. Provider cookie lifetimes and provider-held data retention are different things.

Technology / providerPurpose and categoryLifetime or clearing rule
TechNet authentication session (Better Auth software)Necessary sign-in and securityConfigured session lifetime is 30 days; session cache is 5 minutes. Signing out invalidates the relevant session.
TechNet consent cookieNecessary record of analytics/advertising choices30 days after saving; replaced when you change your choice.
TechNet tn_cookie_choice_updated local storageNecessary signal to refresh choices in other open tabsLatest change marker; browser local storage has no automatic expiry. It can be cleared in browser settings.
TechNet an_sid and an_utm session storageOptional analytics session and campaign attributionBrowser session; removed when analytics is rejected through these controls.
Google Analytics _ga*, _gid, _gat*; Google Tag ManagerOptional measurement; the mixed container requires both choicesProvider/configuration-dependent cookie lifetimes. Known accessible first-party cookies are removed when analytics is rejected; no unverified account-level retention period is promised here.
Microsoft Clarity _clck, _clsk, when enabledOptional interaction/session measurementProvider-managed lifetimes; known accessible first-party cookies removed when analytics is rejected.
Meta _fbp, _fbcOptional advertising attributionTechNet's _fbc helper sets a 90-day maximum; other lifetimes depend on provider/browser configuration. Known accessible first-party cookies removed on advertising rejection.
TechNet an_ids, an_ext_id local storageOptional advertising identifiers used for attributionNo automatic browser expiry; removed when advertising is rejected through these controls or browser data is cleared.

For the cookie values and expiry times actually stored on your device, use your browser's site-data controls. Contact us for information about a particular provider's configured retention.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell customer contact lists. Necessary service providers handle information for the functions below. Optional integrations receive information only in the relevant enabled workflow; listing a service is not permission to use it for a new purpose.

Provider or service categoryInformation handled and purposeLocation / transfer information
Render hosting; database and S3-compatible storage infrastructureHosting the application; account, learning, support and access records; service logs and filesProcessing follows the configured hosting/storage region and provider support arrangements. Contact us for the region relevant to your records.
TechNet authentication system using Better AuthAccount credentials, verification and session/security recordsPart of the application infrastructure, not a claim that Better Auth software is a separate hosted identity provider.
RazorpayCheckout/customer and transaction information to process payments, detect fraud and handle payment disputesRazorpay and its payment partners process under their applicable terms and locations; not a promise of India-only processing.
Resend; VBOUT where used for an enabled email/contact workflowEmail/contact details, message content, subscription and delivery/interaction informationProvider processing may occur outside your country; applicability depends on the email workflow used.
WhatsApp / Meta Business PlatformPhone number, message content, templates and delivery status for requested/permitted WhatsApp communicationMeta and its infrastructure process information under their terms; sending a message necessarily involves that provider.
Google Analytics / Tag Manager, Meta advertising tools, Microsoft Clarity when enabledPermitted marketing-page events, identifiers and device/interaction dataProvider processing can occur internationally; category choices are described above.
Authorised support staff, professional advisers and authorities where necessarySupport, accounting, security, disputes and required lawful disclosuresAccess is limited to the relevant purpose; statutory duties can require disclosure.

TechNet operates in India, and providers may process data in other countries. Where GDPR or another transfer regime applies, a valid applicable transfer basis and safeguards are required. This notice does not certify particular contracts, destinations or safeguards that have not been verified. Ask hello@technetconsultancy.in for the recipients, destinations and information or copies of applicable safeguards relevant to your data, subject to necessary redactions. A provider name alone is not evidence of an executed transfer agreement.

7. How long we keep information

A product's access validity is not its data-retention period. In particular, 30-day mock access does not mean automatic deletion of the account or results after 30 days. Where a fixed period is not specified, the criteria below determine what must still be kept; ask us about your specific records.

Record typeRetention criteria and deletion limits
Account details and exam answers/resultsKept while needed for the account, learning history, access, requested reports and support. Inactivity or purchase expiry is not currently an automatic account-deletion trigger. A removal request is assessed separately.
WhatsApp messages and support recordsNeeded to resolve and document support, respect communication choices and address disputes. Copies held by a messaging provider are subject to that provider's controls as well as applicable request obligations.
Consent, marketing preferences and suppression recordsMinimal evidence of the choice and identifiers needed to avoid sending unwanted messages can remain after withdrawal. Withdrawal does not require us to forget that you opted out.
Payment, invoice and accounting recordsKept for the applicable tax/accounting requirements, reconciliation, fraud prevention and unresolved payment disputes or legal claims. We explain the applicable reason and period when responding to a relevant request rather than invent a universal worldwide period.
Security and operational logsRetained as needed to investigate incidents, protect the service, troubleshoot and meet applicable obligations; retention depends on the log system and incident.
BackupsActive-record deletion is not immediate deletion from every backup. Copies age out under the relevant backup cycle and can be subject to legal holds. Request the applicable cycle; no unverified automatic erasure deadline is promised.

We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no system is risk-free. Do not send passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary identity documents with a request. Incidents are assessed and notified to affected people and authorities where law requires.

8. Access, correction and personal-information removal

Make a privacy request to hello@technetconsultancy.in. Include:

  1. Your account email or another account identifier.
  2. The action requested: access/copy, correction, removal, objection or consent withdrawal.
  3. A contact method where you can receive our reply.

Use your account email if available. If you have lost access to that email, contact us from an address you can use, explain the situation and provide the account identifier. We will discuss a proportionate verification method; identity documents are not the default requirement. Do not send them unless specifically and reasonably requested.

We explain records we must retain and why, rather than promise removal of legally required records. Necessary identity checks are intended to protect your information, not to prevent requests.

Where applicable, GDPR also provides restriction, portability, objection (including to direct marketing) and protections concerning solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Requests are normally free. GDPR requests receive a response within one calendar month; a permitted extension of up to two further months requires notice and reasons within that first month. Other statutory deadlines remain protected.

India's DPDP Act and Rules have phased commencement. Relevant rights and duties apply as their provisions take effect, including access to information, correction/erasure, grievance redressal and nomination where applicable. Our privacy contact accepts requests now. Unresolved concerns may be raised with the competent Indian authority when the applicable mechanism is available, or your local data-protection authority where GDPR/other law applies. Contacting us does not remove any right to complain directly.

9. Scoring, children and notice changes

Automated scoring compares submitted answers with the mock's key and calculates learning reports. These are practice feedback, not official PMI certification decisions or pass guarantees. Contact support to challenge a scoring or access issue.

Professional exam products are intended for adults aged 18 or over. Contact us if a child has provided information so we can address it appropriately.

Material changes are published here with an updated date, with additional notice where required. A changed notice does not retrospectively authorise new processing without the required legal basis.
