Facebook Pixel is a small piece of code that helps you to find your visitors on your Apps.

How to Create Facebook Pixel

Open Facebook Ads Manager and click the top menu button and select Pixels from the Assets column.

On the next page, click Create a Pixel to start the process.

Add a name for your pixel and click Next.

Once you click on next, your Facebook Pixel code is ready to use.

 

How to Install Code

Once you click next you will see three option

  • Use an integration or Tag Manager
  •  Manually install Code Yourself
  •  Email instructions to a Developer

You can use any of the above-listed options to start integrating your pixel code to your website.

Suppose if you select manually install code.

Now you can copy that code and paste it into your website’s head section. If you are using WordPress site please follow these steps below

Use any of free plugin to insert header and footer

Install and activate the free Insert Headers and Footers plugin

 

Go to Settings → Insert Headers and Footers

 

Paste the Facebook Pixel tracking code into the Scripts in the Header box

 

Save your changes

If you are using CMS like WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and any other you are select the first option from  ” Use an integration or Tag Manager”. This will provide your direct ready plugin to use on your website without any headache. And if your website is not maintained by you or you are not a technical person to do that, you can select a third option and mail Facebook Pixel code to your developer or freelancer who supposes to doing this stuff for you.
